Role Description

This is a part-time,
- site role for a Senior Accountant at Mitel Networks Romania in Brasov (50%-60% role, some flexibility may be available). The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing the company's financial operations, preparing financial reports, developing financial strategies, maintaining records, and auditing.

Responsibilities

Produce
- free accounting reports and present their results.

Analyze financial information and summarize financial status.

Spot errors and suggest ways to improve efficiency and spending.

Support efficient and
- free intercompany processes.

Provide input into department’s goal setting process.

Prepare financial statements.

Assist with tax audits and tax returns.

Work with corporate tax team in collection of required data and calculations.

Direct internal and external audits to ensure compliance.

Support
- end and
- end close process, including but not limited to preparing and posting journal entries, as well as preparing and approving balance sheet account reconciliations in an online tool (Blackline).

Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.

Ensure compliance with GAAP principles.

Support the transition to the parent companies ERP.

Qualifications

Expertise in accounting principles and practices.

Experience in auditing is preferred.

Excellent analytical and
- solving skills.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Experience with SAP, Blackline and/or MS Office Suite would be a benefit.

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.

Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is required.
