Role Summary:The AV Trainer / Technician plays a dual role, balancing the responsibilities of training future
AV professionals with operational duties in studio environments. This dynamic positioninvolves technical expertise in AV and IT systems, effective communication, and a dedicationto continuous learning and development. Key Responsibilities:* Program Development: Create and lead engaging,
- on training programs for aspiring AV Technicians. * AV Equipment Setup: Install and configure AV/IT equipment in line with Broadcast Engineer plans. * Camera Installation: Set up professional video cameras, including lenses, monitors, and power systems. * Lighting Installation: Install studio lighting systems, with bonus knowledge of Chroma Key setups. * Technical Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve equipment and system issues, ensuring minimal downtime. * Shift Flexibility: Work night shifts or extended hours as required to support studio operations. Qualifications:* Hardware Knowledge: Skilled in assembling, testing, troubleshooting, and repairing AV/IT hardware. * Test Equipment: Familiar with using multimeters and understanding AC/DC circuitry. * Operating Systems: Experienced in configuring and installing Windows and Linux systems. * Willingness to travel, sometimes for extended periods. * Adaptable to changing schedules and environments.
