We are currently seeking a AWS Cloud Engineer to join our team in Remote, București (RO-B), Romania (RO).

We are currently looking for an AWS Cloud Engineer for our growing team in Romania.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the design, planning, and execution of migration strategies for moving
  - premises applications, systems, and databases to AWS.
• Assist in the deployment and configuration of AWS services such as EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda, and Cloud
  Formation for the migration project.
• Migrate data from
  - premises databases to AWS databases using services like AWS Database Migration Service (DMS) and AWS Snowball.
• Work on infrastructure automation using AWS Cloud
  Formation or Terraform to ensure repeatability and consistency in deployments.
• Provide support and troubleshooting during the migration process to ensure minimal downtime and optimal performance.
• Document configurations, migration processes, and best practices for future reference and knowledge sharing.
• Continuously monitor and report on the health of the migrated environment using Amazon Cloud
  Watch and other monitoring tools.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge and
  - on experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, Lambda, Cloud
  Formation, and IAM.
• Experience with migration tools and services, such as AWS Migration Hub, AWS Server Migration Service (SMS), and AWS Database Migration Service (DMS).
• Proficiency in infrastructure as code (Ia
  C) using Cloud
  Formation or Terraform.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts in AWS, including VPC, security groups, route tables, and Direct Connect.
• Experience in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Power
  Shell for automation tasks.
• Familiarity with cloud security best practices, including IAM policies, encryption, and securing access to resources in AWS.
• Ability to work with
  - native monitoring and logging services such as Amazon Cloud
  Watch, AWS Cloud
  Trail, and VPC Flow Logs.
• Strong troubleshooting and
  - solving skills, especially related to cloud migrations.

Certifications:

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate (Nice to have)
• AWS Certified Developer – Associate (Nice to have)
• AWS Certified Sys
  Ops Administrator – Associate (Nice to have)
