Job Description

Who we are

We are seeking a talented Azure Synapse Data Engineer proficient in Azure Synapse Analytics and platform management (authorization / authentication concepts, segregation of duties, cost implications on platform setups etc. ) to join our team.

What you'll be doing

Implementation of Azure Synapse Tool Stack into Allianz IT landscape

Integration to other sources, feeders, regulatory systems

Customer consulting to ensure e2e use case coverage with the given tool landscape in an cost efficient application design

What you'll bring along

Azure Synapse Analytics: Proficient in leveraging Azure Synapse for data integration, big data analytics, and data warehousing. Skilled in configuring Synapse workspaces, managing data pipelines, and optimizing query performance

Infrastructure & Components: Comprehensive understanding of Azure infrastructure, including storage accounts, virtual networks, and security configurations. Experience in deploying and managing Synapse components such as SQL pools, Spark pools, and Data Explorer pools

Azure Machine Learning: Expertise in integrating Azure ML with Synapse for advanced analytics and predictive modeling. Capable of designing and deploying machine learning models, automating ML workflows, and monitoring model performance

Azure Event Hubs: In-depth knowledge of Azure Event Hubs for
- time data ingestion and stream processing. Skilled in configuring event hubs, managing event streams, and integrating with other Azure services for
- time analytics

Implementation & Application Development: Proven track record of implementing

- end solutions using the Azure Synapse Stack. Experience in developing and deploying applications that leverage Synapse, ML, and Event Hubs to drive business insights and operational efficiency

Troubleshooting & Optimization: Strong
- solving skills with a focus on identifying and resolving issues within the Azure Synapse environment. Proficient in performance tuning, error handling, and ensuring high availability and reliability of Synapse-based applications
