About Stripe
You will join one of the teams behind infrastructure platforms used by engineering, security, and business partners at Stripe. As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for implementation of high quality compliance automation systems and products that are reliable and prepared to scale with Stripe’s growth.
You will build solutions that may be “from scratch”, built on top of
- house platforms, or leveraging 3rd party solutions. We partner closely with internal teams and business partners representing end customers, and we expect that working along the team’s technical leaders, you will be able to understand their needs and build software that best meets their needs. We are a highly effective team, consistently delivering
- impact results while genuinely caring for each other. Our “compliance-as-code” platform accelerates Stripe’s ability to meet compliance requirements in current and future markets, enabling Stripe to be efficient and expand faster.
We’re looking for engineers with a background in infrastructure or security, who are interested in delivering high performance infrastructure products to internal and external customers. In-office expectations
Office-assigned Stripes in most of our locations are currently expected to spend at least 50% of the time in a given month in their local office or with users. This expectation may vary depending on role, team and location. For example, Stripes in our Bucharest, Romania site have an 80%- office expectation, and those in Stripe Delivery Center roles in Mexico City, Mexico and Bengalaru, India work 100% from the office. Also, some teams have greater
- office attendance requirements, to appropriately support our users and workflows, which the hiring manager will discuss. This approach helps strike a balance between bringing people together for
- person collaboration and learning from each other, while supporting flexibility when possible.
