Role description:

This role is part of Arcadis Global Excellence Centre (GEC) and will join our 3, + talented individuals working in India, Romania, and Philippines, in partnership with Arcadis offices globally. The GEC brings key capabilities and capacity to support our clients seamlessly around the world. You will join our global Structural Engineering team, where our projects and development opportunities can fit various ambitions from 3D modeling and parametric design to Operate & Maintain digital methods. The delivery is secured through global collaboration platforms like BIM, which allows engineers across various offices to work together seamlessly while maintaining clear visibility for our clients.

Role accountabilities:

Working on multinational projects following European standards;

Developing projects (from concept to execution files) meeting the clients specific requirements;

Preparation of conceptual and outline designs for structural schemes;

Detailing formwork and reinforcement plans;

Occasional visits for training or projects in Arcadis offices from Europe.

Qualifications & Experience:

Mandatory:

Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture;

Minimum 2-3 years experience;

Technical knowledge about reinforced concrete and steel structures;

Interested in BIM concepts and workflows, keen in professional development in this field;

Attention to detail: ability to work accurately and focus on quality;

Great interpersonal skills (teamwork, supportive attitude, eagerness to learn, proactivity);

Effective Communication: strong communication skills in Romanian and English to collaborate with team members, other disciplines and stakeholders.

Nice to have:

Previous experience in Revit;

Sofistik Reinforcement detailing skills;

Curious about automation, scripting in Dynamo;

Portfolio; a showcase of the candidates previous work as it relates to the job description.
