The Brand and Category Manager will increase CL’s penetration, grow dry eye market sales and market share for Alcon Vision Care strategic brands through excellent, industry leading marketing activities.
Develop and implement marketing plans, marketing objectives and promotional programs for assigned products.
Localize control product launches, advertising and promotional programs for assigned products. Commit Sales Force to ensure excellence in the implementation of promotional activities, and keep their knowledge about competitors up to date.
Implement marketing campaigns, pricing strategy, commercial programs, developed by IMG customizing to market needs and aligning with local market regulations.
Develop communicational strategy to ECPs, customers and consumers both for Alcon Romania VC Sales Force team during F2F calls and educational activities and through digital resources.
In this role, a typical day will include:
- Develops and implements the adequate marketing strategy in order to increase the Alcon sales – units, values, market shares - in synergy with the other business unit and business partnering departments in the organization. Elaborate digital strategy and Media Plan.
- Contributes to the achievement of annual and long term sales objectives and to the improvement of sales mix for the indicated portfolio. Prepare all necessary materials and presentation for Annual Brand planning, Launch Readiness Reviews, Budgeting and regular sales reviews.
- Actively cooperate with IMG and global marketing team.
Proactively involve local agencies to execution of marketing strategy.
- Advocates development including relationship with main KOLs. KOLs development plan to every strategic product lines. Regular field visit to update planning.
- Identifies exposures and opportunities in the market, including but not restricted to competitors’ strategic analysis.
- Prepares the sales forecasts / S&OP forecasts and expenses budget related to the assigned Products.
- Produces periodic reports - generates and checks the market data; timely prepares and interprets products reports, product mix analysis, product profitability, etc.
- Elaborates promotional materials within the global campaigns, provides those resources supporting the activities of the sales force within the assigned budget.
- Responsible for A&P and samples Control, respectively performing ongoing analysis and
- up of Promo/Marketing budgets for the assigned Products. Responsible for Demo tracking and reporting.
- Organize and lead professional events (3rd parties congresses and Alcon promo events) and promotional cycle meetings in the field.
- Develops and implements relevant training programs for the sales force every cycle meeting and during regular field visits.
- Maintains permanent interaction with the Customer Service Department – sales forecasts, timely product launches, adequate supply and standard packaging.
- Maintains permanent interaction with the S&OP and Master Data and other departments – operational forecasts on products life cycle, timely product launches, adequate supply and standard packaging.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON:
Education :
University degree in Marketing, Business Economics and/or Medicine and all related fields (i. e. Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biology, Engineering).
Languages: Romanian, English
Experience:
Previous Marketing, Brand, Category management.
Skills:
Excellent internal and external communication skills, digital marketing, SMM, multitasking easiness and good time management, team player, results orientation, negotiation abilities, analytical thinking, creativity
Computer – MS Office (Word, Excel, Power
Point), Internet (as user), clean driving license (B)
