Business Development Manager
Job Purpose:
Business Development Manager responsible for translating AWS technology growth plans and driving them in specific strategic cloud segments. The ideal candidate will partner with multiple departments to drive measurable results that benefit our business. They will implement an effective sales approach that expands our reach, strengthens client relationships, and seeks out other business opportunities that can boost revenue.
Responsibilities:
Develop a business development strategy tailored to AWS cloud services that drives business growth and improves overall results.
Promote the TD SYNNEX value proposition addressing partners' objectives and aligning with their business goals.
Build
- term relationships with new and existing partners to foster loyalty and growth.
Identify market opportunities through partners meetings and develop a robust pipeline.
Grow profitable market share by executing the Cloud Business Unit strategy with clear direction and oversight.
Clear understanding of the company's core value proposition and demonstrate the ability to communicate with context to customers.
Responsible for the growth and development of partner business, including forecasting sales targets and growth projections.
Build successful proposals by gathering information from customers and planning effective approaches that demonstrate an understanding of requirements.
Deliver value to customers while maintaining expected levels of margin return against a balanced product mix.
Develop and nurture relationships with key partners to ensure TD SYNNEX is seen as the “Trusted Advisor”.
Negotiate key tenders and large deals with full knowledge of assigned AWS cloud market.
Optimize results by driving sales out of the agreed AWS portfolio, including new business development initiatives.
Knowledge Skills and Experience
Proven experience (ideally +3 years) in cloud technologies, with a preference for AWS.
Strong orientation towards services and solution selling.
Strategic planning and business case development expertise.
Strong emotional intelligence.
Demonstrates a clear understanding of strategic direction and the challenges.
Effective communication skills.
Self-management capabilities
High energy, motivation, and proactive.
Proven ability to
- manage in an external environment.
Business planning experience with a strong operational cadence
