CESOP is the EU's new Central Electronic System of Payment information. It has been created by the European Commission to support efforts to close the VAT gap in the EU. The VAT gap is the VAT revenue that Member States in the EU are missing as a result of errors and fraud. By collection data on
- border payments, the EU expects to collect VAT that was previously unpaid.
Who we're looking for:
• Preferably graduates in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Legal, with experience working in a multinational company
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in client or portfolio management
• Fluent English speaker (level B2-C1)
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; developing strong relationships with all levels of staff and partners with ability to influence where required
• Disciplined in the application of operating models and performance standards to ensure consistently high levels of customer service
• Strong technical, problem solving and analytical skills
• Strong client management skills; the ability to manage clients through difficult issues or challenging situations
• Demonstrate a strong sense of responsibility, accountability and ownership of work
• Well organized, able to manage multiple projects and handling successfully competing priorities/deadlines in a timely manner
Your future role As a Client Project Manager, you will manage multiple client accounts and will be responsible for helping ensure that client deliverables are completed on time and the client is kept up to date: • Manage multiple client engagements, ensuring high quality and timely delivery of service to meet client expectations • Prepare project plans to monitor and track progress • Ensure resource availability and allocation to achieve client expectations • Proactively engage with client contacts to set expectation for upcoming deliverables • Provide tracking to clients on the status of their deliverables • Provide tracking to CESOP leadership on the status of their deliverables • Assist with reviews and submitting XML declarations using Deloitte proprietary technology when surge capacity is required • Manage more junior team members • Identify and escalate risks and issues, providing solutions where appropriate • Provide support to management / leadership in defining, implementing and improving work procedures and processes You will work as an integral part of a highly skilled international team, working with standardized and efficient processes.
