Objective:

Provide customers with Cloud IT infrastructures, expanding our Operations team in Bucharest and manage server life cycle in the local data center and abroad, upgrade systems and other projects related to infrastructure;

Responsibilities

Ensure and be responsible, together with the Global IT department, for the fulfillment of the activities related to the operations of VMWare, Office 365 & MS Azure;

Resolve together with the IT team, any technical incidents (L1 &L2) that may arise in the administration of Axway Romania's processes and IT systems;

Responsible for the correct and timely recording, in writing, at the time of their occurrence of the incidents and how they were resolved, according to the company's internal procedures;

Monitor the operation of the IT processes and systems of Axway Romania;

If necessary, install and configure patches, new releases of integrated software applications;

Before validating solutions for technical incidents that may occur, test their efficiency and reliability;

Perform specific duties regarding the quality standards agreed within the group;

In case of failure to solve an incident, or if it exceeds the limits of competence, report the incident through the alert system specific to the group to L3;

Organization of the
- demand
- up process and data storage according to the needs expressed by any of the companies' departments;

Participate in the training courses held within the company;

Availability to respond on urgent matters that are not scheduled and requires the attention of local resources, meaning local IT personnel, outside working hours (flexible schedule);

Qualifications

Relevant experience working with VMWare technologies, Office 365 & MS Azure, Level 1 & Level 2 troubleshooting/administration, including experience in a similar context (multiple sites/countries);

Knowledge and experience in: vm

Hat Linux, Suse Linux, Oracle and My
SQL RDBMS, VMware v
Sphere, NAS True
NAS, Dell Vx
Rail, Power
Edge servers and MD storage, Commvault Backup;

Automation in Power
Shell, Bash, Python scripting;

Interested to work in a local datacenter (restricted area);

Excellent team working abilities (including remotely);

Excellent personal organization & communication skills;

Strong writing and presentation skills;

Willingness to travel in Europe & USA;

Openness to learn and evolve into level 3 architecture in the future;

Fluent in English;

Desired soft skills:

Dynamic, flexible, willing to learn, to share knowledge (working directly with Level 1 team in Paris), team player.

Nice to have:

vm
Ware Vrealize Operations and Automation;

Windows system administration skills;

University Degree in Computer Science or equivalent;

Experience in AIX, Solaris, HP-UX;

French language skills;
