JOB DESCRIPTION

Purpose:  A successful Cloud Database Engineer will be expected to plan, analyze, design, test and deploy cloud database solutions globally at LS&Co. The employee will need to demonstrate functional knowledge and technical expertise at the enterprise level related to multiple database technologies including but not limited to Microsoft SQL, Oracle, My
SQL, Postgre
SQL, and SAP HANA. The employee would be required to promote innovative solutions to our customer’s and develop relationships with key customer stakeholders to help them achieve their business goals.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Minimum Education Required:

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent vendor certifications and experience;

Cloud Certifications preferred

Years and Type of Experience Required:

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

Microsoft SQL, My
SQL, Oracle, and Postgre
SQL; SAP HANA a plus

Extremely strong troubleshooting skills

Complexity and Accountability:

Self-managed and motivated individual with strong leadership skill

Strong verbal, written, technical and communication skills in the English Language.

Ability to work with all levels of users - inexperienced
- technical users as well as experienced technical users

Must possess the ability to manage cross function team initiatives

Additional Information:

Oncall rotation with other team members for 7x24 production systems support
