Job description

As a Cloud Operations Engineer at ORTEC, one of your main goals is to deploy and keep our cloud solutions (services and applications) operational. You work with one or more product development teams and are supported by the Cloud Operations Support team.

As an experienced Cloud Operations Engineer, you are involved in topics like security, availability, performance, efficiency, change management, (cost) monitoring, emergency response and capacity planning for one or more
- native solutions (Azure). You continuously improve the infrastructure for better scalability, security and fault tolerance. To do this you create pipelines and scripts for deployment, monitoring, and application management. You also enable rapid deployment of new features with the necessary safeguards to maintain stability, high availability, and performance together with your colleagues.

Who you are

You have relevant working experience

- You have an IT-related Bachelor degree

- You embrace the Dev
Ops culture and automating is your second nature

- Having experience with the following technologies is a
- requizite:

o Containerization (e. g. Kubernetes)

o Programming or scripting (e. g. Power
Shell)

o Microsoft Azure

o Familiar with Microsoft tooling (. NET)

- Continuous integration and continuous delivery practices using Jenkins and/or Azure Dev
Ops including ARM templating.

- Ability to work independently, but also in a team.

- Taking ownership is important to you: you are a problem solver and you feel responsible

- You are curious, creative and enthusiastic about sharing your ideas and
- how

- Being conscientious and staying abreast of new developments is your cup of tea

- Willingness to take part in
- call duties to support our customers 24/7 (approx. 8 weeks per year with compensation).
