The Job

A CNC operator is directly involved in the programming,
- up, and operation of CNC machines. On a daily basis, most CNC machine operators can be found doing the following tasks:

• Study blueprints, materials, and production plans prior to machining
• Translate blueprints and drawings into dimensions for production
• Load and unload raw materials into the machines
• Set up the machines using proper calibration techniques
• Program or enter instructions into each machine
• Complete test runs prior to production
• Supervise CNC machines as they run, making adjustments if needed
• Ensure the machines operate in accordance with company and safety guidelines
• Ensure all safety and company protocols are met during the manufacturing process
• Participate in safety and training classes for the company
• Perform inspections of the work area and machinery, before and after production
• Conduct light maintenance on CNC equipment, such as cleaning tools
• Inspect finished product to ensure it meets exact specifications
• Record CNC machine actions throughout process; keep logs of production and quality
• Communicate logistics issues that arise during the process

The Profile

• You have at least 4 years experience including solid experience in a similar role within Luxury and Industrial.
• You have working knowledge of cnc router and cnc router operate
• You are a strong networker & relationship builder
• You pay strong attention to detail and deliver work that is of a high standard
• You are highly goal driven and work well in fast paced environments
