COBOL Engineer - Applicative Corrective Maintenance (with French)
Job Description
Mission:
- Your role is to ensure service continuity, to guarantee application(s) quality and to maintain the application(s)
Responsibilities:
- Resolve incidents, analyze problems, and implement small request for change by following the development phases (coding, unit test) in consistency with the assets
- Provide quality users assistance
- Answer to different service requests (reporting, recurrent tasks)
- Meet the objectives related to its application (availability time, incidents time resolution…)
- Ensure the necessary data transfer between applications
- Update documents after each change
- Propose and implement actions to simplify applications, optimize processes and automate tasks
- Follow and enforce norms and standards, security rules
Qualifications
Profile:
- Graduate of technical profile faculty
- Experience in COBOL programming (minimum 4 years)
- Experience with Mainframe, JCL, DB2
- Experience in application support
- Synthesis Capacity
- Customer Orientation
- Initiative Capacity
- Mandatory French and English skills
