Your primary objective is to work on customer solutions to achieve Kuehne+Nagels business goals. You will be working as part of a team with internal + external stakeholders while focusing on the following key objectives:
- To support customer tender projects, driving + offering compelling logistics concepts. - To understand new concepts + technology for solutions while building on existing best practices. - To support the presentation of proposed solutions to customers. - To work together with internal + external stakeholders during the tender phase. - Have a clear understanding of compliance standards during the solutions offering process.
Your Role This role involves building solution models, assisting with proposal documents, and providing conceptual facility layouts. The engineer interfaces with specialized functional groups for solution design and demonstrates creative
- solving abilities. Your Responsibilities - Review customer tender documentation to perform data analysis of customer data, providing input to costing models, setting up processes and including specifics on technology and equipment used
- Has the ability to create a solutions design for a standard warehousing solution or to work as part of a team on a larger complex solution
- Is able to create a material flow for the solution
- Can create a cost calculation independently for the solutions design
- Setup customer response in terms of layout, processes descriptions and solution overview
- Present solution to customer
- Support implementations and optimization projects from solution perspective
- Mentors analysts and more junior team members to develop and achieve their promotion goals
- Is aware of changes/trends within the market that will impact logistics services

Strategic Responsibility
- Comply to globally defined processes
Your Skills and Experiences - Master Degree in Supply Chain or Engineering;
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Contract Logistics, is mandatory;
- Project Management experience is an advantage;
- Analytical skills and problem solving
- Experience in Automotive will be preferred;
- Logistics and supply chain operational and solutions engineering management experience, is mandatory;
- Result-oriented person with strong ability to coordinate multiple projects at different stages;
- Fluent in English both written and spoken, is mandatory;
- Advanced level in MS Office pack tools usage, especially Excel, is mandatory.
