The Contract Logistics Customer Solutions Engineer analyzes RFQs, develops
- specific solutions, and presents them for approval to executives and clients within warehouse operations.
Your Role This role involves building solution models, assisting with proposal documents, and providing conceptual facility layouts. The engineer interfaces with specialized functional groups for solution design and demonstrates creative
- solving abilities. Your Responsibilities - Build Solutions Models;
- Assist Business Development with the creation of proposal documents and written responses to RFP questions;
- Read and understand customer RFP/Q/I's to identify solution requirements and additional data and informational requirement for solutions development;
- Interface with various specialized functional groups for solution design and costing input;
- Analyze customer requirements, develop a cost model and design layouts as well as material flows;
- Monitor and stay engaged in project implementation phase to insure all planned tasks and activities have been delivered;
- Assist with remaining existing contracts through inquiries of
- engineering from operation team. - Provide conceptual facility layout.
Your Skills and Experiences - Master Degree in Supply Chain or Engineering;
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Contract Logistics, is mandatory;
- Project Management experience is an advantage;
- Analytical skills and problem solving
- Experience in Automotive will be preferred;
- Logistics and supply chain operational and solutions engineering management experience, is mandatory;
- Result-oriented person with strong ability to coordinate multiple projects at different stages;
- Fluent in English both written and spoken, is mandatory;
- Advanced level in MS Office pack tools usage, especially Excel, is mandatory.
