Context

Thales Romania is looking for a beginner Data Analyst for a permanent contract.

We are currently seeking a beginner Data Analyst to participate in one of our projects implementing multiple data processing software components and involving several collaborators in similar
- focused missions (analysis, engineering, and science).

You will join the Thales Romania team, which specializes in designing, developing, integrating, and validating innovative and
- performance technical solutions for massive data storage and processing, in line with our clients' requirements in the energy sector.

Upon joining us, you will be responsible for the following missions as a beginner Data Analyst:

Understanding and analyzing the client's data needs in line with their business requirements,

Translating this analysis into functional requirements that need to be implemented for the service,

Implementing these functional requirements in the form of software developments and/or the use of data analysis tools,

Estimating the technical efforts associated with these activities,

Keeping abreast of technological developments in the data field and participating in innovative prototypes.

Skills

Coming from a university background or computer engineering, you have a first experience in the field of data (Data Engineering), and overall in software engineering (development, testing). Knowledge of cloud technologies would also be an asset, whether public (AWS, GCP, Azure) or private.

The main activities you will carry out:

Basic awareness of data governance principles and data security practices

Basic knowledge with Power
BI desktop and its basic functionalities, creation of simple reports

Basic knowledge of Excel formatting and basic functions

Basic knowledge with simple SQL queries, understand relational databases and know how to use them to store and retrieve data

Basic Scripting & Automation (Python/Power
Shell etc. )

You are familiar with generic software design principles and can work in a team on modular systems, with minimal quality and security constraints.

You have an interest in issues related to data and its exploitation through storage and transformation software systems.

You are comfortable in English.

You are curious and rigorous.

You enjoy working in a team on a daily basis.

For you, success is only collective.

French would be a plus.
