What you will enjoy doing

• As a data engineer you are focussing on building data pipelines and data lakehouses to best support theneeds of our Data science and Data Analytics teams as well as our internalbusiness partners
• You will combine anunderstanding of business processes and related data with your extraordinarycapability in designing and developing targeted and reusable data models andlakehouses
• Furthermore you will play an important rolein improving the overall data architecture and platform strategy
• Supporting in establishingand introducing data governance and lineage principles within the wider Lindeorganization will be part of the role

What makes you great

• You posses very strong skills in programming anddata engineering (SQL /Python /R ) which you combine with a very good understanding of datamodelling and data management processes as well as experience in creating data lakehousesor similar concepts preferred
• Furthermore you have a good understanding of platform conceptsand system infrastructure and experience in gathering and understanding business requirements and turningthem into data models
• You combine interest and motivation to continuouslylearn and develop with excellent spoken and written skills in
  English
• Willingness to travel to collaboratewith the wider team and business (< 10%) is a business need in this role
