Your mission

We are seeking a skilled and innovative individual to join our team as a Data Scientist / Data Engineer specializing in E-Commerce Pricing. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining data pipelines, implementing pricing algorithms, and analyzing data to optimize pricing strategies for our
- commerce platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering, data analysis or data science, and experience in the
- commerce domain.

• Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable data pipelines for collecting, processing, and storing large volumes of
  - related data from various sources such as transaction logs, web analytics, and
  - party APIs.
• Ensure data quality and integrity throughout the pipeline by implementing data validation and monitoring processes.
• Collaborate with the pricing team to develop and implement advanced pricing algorithms and models using machine learning and statistical techniques.
• Optimize algorithms to dynamically adjust pricing based on factors such as demand, competitor pricing, inventory levels, and customer behavior.
• Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies in pricing data.
• Generate actionable insights and recommendations to improve pricing strategies, revenue optimization, and customer engagement.
• Evaluate the performance of pricing models using metrics such as revenue uplift, margin improvement, and customer satisfaction.
• Continuously refine and optimize pricing models based on
  - world feedback and business objectives.
• Collaborate with
  - functional teams including product management, marketing, and finance to align pricing strategies with overall business goals.
• Communicate findings, insights, and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner through presentations and reports.

Your profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Data Engineer, Data Analyst, Data Scientist, or similar role, with a focus on pricing analytics and optimization in the
  - commerce domain.
• Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, SQL, and experience with data manipulation libraries (e. g. , pandas, Num
  Py).
• Experience with data visualization tools (e. g. , Matplotlib, Seaborn, Streamlit) for presenting insights and analysis.
• Solid understanding of machine learning algorithms and statistical techniques for predictive modeling and optimization.
• Experience with a modern data stack (dbt, Snowflake, etc. )
• Experience with big data technologies such as Apache Spark, Hadoop, or similar frameworks is a plus.
• Excellent
  - solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to
  - technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Microsoft Azure.
• Knowledge of pricing strategies and methodologies in the
  - commerce industry.
• Familiarity with A/B testing and experimentation methodologies for evaluating pricing strategies.
