Your day to day:

Ensures the functionality and performance of the database systems and supervises other DBAs. Provides support and works toward solving incidents/doing current tasks/solving issues and problems with the purpose of ensuring agreed SLA.

Performs activities related to the design and implementation of new solutions and related activities of software development and ensures database performance. Ensures takeover of activities from the build area for new platforms.

Develops scripts/programs that help expand the functionalities of IT solutions and automates recurring activities. Creates scripts for databases (Bash, Python, SQL, PL/SQL, TSQL, Perl, etc. ) as per customer specifications or business needs.

Liaises with the client: evaluates customer requests for providing new services, comes with proposals for ways of increasing the team performance and for changing the operational model used for interfacing with clients.

Contributes to fulfillment of performance indicators agreed with service owners

Participates in automation initiatives in order to improve the success rates for various issues and increase customer satisfaction
