Become a Mechanical Design Engineer with us, working on power converter designs and preparing production/customer documentation. Support series launches, logistics, and production queries while assisting in test setups and mechanical validation. Analyze returned goods, develop remedial measures, and select/qualify suppliers. Provide expert
- site support during assembly and maintenance phases.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- High-voltage design of power converters in close coordination with our development teams.
- Preparation of production documents and customer documentation, support of production during series launches, contact person for logistics/order management and for questions relating to production documents.
- Support of test setups for type tests and execution of mechanical validation tests.
- Analysis of returned goods cases and development of remedial measures.
- Selection of suitable suppliers and assumption of their qualification.
- Competent contact person on site during assembly and maintenance phases.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
- Ideally several years of professional experience and initial design experience in the mechanical development of power converters.
- Specialist knowledge of mechanical engineering, materials and manufacturing techniques, as well as basic knowledge of electrical engineering.
- Knowledge of the relevant design guidelines, norms and standards and experience in the design and calculation of mechanical parts and components.
- Confident handling of CAD development software, ideally Siemens NX.
- Ability to work in a team,

- orientation, communication skills as well as a structured, systematic and analytical way of working.
- Basic knowledge of German and good written and spoken English and willingness to travel.
- Fully conversant with Microsoft - Word, Excel, Outlook, Power
