About the Role 

We are seeking a highly skilled Dev
Ops Transformation Manager to lead a
- scale CI/CD modernization and Git
Ops adoption project for a financial institution migrating to IBM Cloud. This role requires deep expertise in Dev
Ops practices,
- native technologies, and organizational transformation methodologies. The ideal candidate will work closely with technical architects, development teams, and stakeholders to design and implement scalable solutions aligned with modern frameworks like Git
Ops, Spotify Model, and SAFe.  

Key Responsibilities 

1.     Transformation Leadership: 

• Manage the
  -
  - end transformation of CI/CD pipelines and Dev
  Ops practices to adopt Git
  Ops principles.  
• Ensure alignment with cloud migration objectives, leveraging IBM Cloud-native services and tools.  
• Drive the creation and execution of a detailed roadmap covering analysis, blueprint design, and implementation phases.  

2.     Technical Strategy: 

• Develop and implement scalable CI/CD architectures tailored for complex, regulated environments.  
• Lead the integration of Git
  Ops workflows, including declarative configurations, automated drift detection, and Kubernetes-based deployments.  
• Oversee the adoption of IBM Cloud Dev
  Ops tools such as IBM Continuous Delivery, Kubernetes Service (IKS), and Log
  DNA.  

3.     Stakeholder Collaboration: 

• Act as the primary technical liaison between the client’s architects, the Move to Cloud team, and
  - functional squads.  
• Facilitate workshops and discussions to ensure alignment on technical and operational goals.  

4.     Governance and Compliance: 

• Define governance frameworks to ensure compliance with financial regulations (e. g. , GDPR, PSD2).  
• Implement robust monitoring and traceability processes to support audits and secure operations.  

5.     Team Enablement: 

• Mentor and guide engineering teams on Git
  Ops principles and
  - native practices.  
• Deliver training sessions to ensure smooth adoption of new tools and processes across squads.  

Required Qualifications 

Technical Expertise: 

• Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines and Dev
  Ops tools (e. g. , Jenkins, Git
  Lab, Argo
  CD, Flux).  
• Deep understanding of Git
  Ops principles and Kubernetes-based deployments.  
• Proficiency with IBM Cloud services, including Continuous Delivery, Kubernetes Service (IKS), and Secure Gateway.  

Leadership and Transformation: 

• Proven track record of managing
  - scale Dev
  Ops transformations in enterprise environments.  
• Familiarity with agile frameworks such as Spotify Model, SAFe, or Scrum.  
• Excellent ability to manage
  - functional teams and complex stakeholder dynamics.  

Compliance and Security: 

• Experience in regulated industries (e. g. , banking, finance) with a focus on compliance and data protection.  
• Familiarity with ISO/IEC 29110, DORA metrics, and financial regulatory standards.  

Soft Skills: 

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to bridge technical and business priorities.

Preferred Qualifications 

Certifications: 

• Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or Developer (CKAD).  
• Certified SAFe Program Consultant (SPC) or equivalent.  
• IBM Cloud Professional Dev
  Ops Engineer or similar.  
• Hands-on expertise with monitoring and observability tools (e. g. , Sysdig, Prometheus, Grafana).
