Roles and responsibilities

Typical day in the life as a Diesel Engines Maintenance Engineer:

Optimization of the Maintenance Plan for Diesel equipment by combining the most relevant approaches - preventive, corrective, condition based, predictive, upgrades.

Analysis of repetitive equipment failures, root cause analysis and implementation of corrective solutions.

Forecasting of spare parts requirements, define spare part stock requirements and strategy.

Assessing and reporting risks and safety hazards associated with maintenance of equipment. Support the relationship with strategic makers and suppliers.

Build and coordinate maintenance projects.

Analyze new maintenance technologies, approaches and determine their efficiency, applicability.

Qualifications, Skills and Experiences

What are we looking for:

University graduate in mechanical engineering (Diesel Engines knowledge is a plus).

Previous working experience in an engineering domain (Diesel Engines, maritime experience is a plus).

Medium knowledge of engine operation and maintenance.

Computer skill required : MS word/excel/outlook

Good English skills (write / speak / read), knowledge of technical language

Good coordination and communication skills.

Ability to handle tasks flexibly and to work under pressure.
