Digital Business Analyst
About the Role
We are looking for a Business Analyst to join our Global Access team. Sustainalytics’ Global Access is our client platform for accessing most of our core research and data products, including our flagship ESG Risk Ratings and Research. As a Business Analyst, you will work with the Product Managers and technical teams to deliver
- quality software solutions to help investors to make better and more informed choices. In this role, you will participate in the analysis of new feature/content requests and help multifunctional development teams to understand WHAT need to be done to meet users' needs.
Job Responsibilities
• Work within an Agile software development framework setting including UX designers, developers, and QA to release functionality on a regular basis.
• Collect, define, and document user stories, requirements and test cases from the Product Management team and stakeholders into product backlog items that our developers can implement.
• Collaborate with the Product Management team, tech leaders, developers, and QA to deliver projects according to requirements.
• Identify and solve
- related problems, follow up on missing or unclear requirements, complete
- off analysis to stay on track towards business deliverable commitments.
• Work closely with the development team to ensure that everyone is clear on the expected user experience for new features and functionality being developed.
• Produce and maintain high quality documentation and maintain Jira board.
Qualifications
• A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in business analysis or defining technical requirements.
• Experience in an Agile environment, with a solid grasp of agile philosophy, ceremonies, and artifacts.
• Self-motivated, excellent work ethic, strong interpersonal and English communication skills, ability to work in a team environment.
• Technically savvy person who stays up with trends in technology and Agile methods.
• Ability to learn quickly and excellent
- solving skills.
• Ability to operate in a dynamic environment and adapt to changes.
• An enquiring mind with a proven track record of driving multiple initiatives all at the same time
Nice to have
• Project Management skills
• Experience with different requirements tracking systems like JIRA
• Basic understanding of programming concepts, databases, and cloud solutions
