Digital Performance Country Manager
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Country Manager to lead our marketing team in Romania. This pivotal role will act as an extension of our U. S. -based marketing company, serving as the right hand of the Marketing Director to ensure alignment, operational excellence, and strategic growth. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of digital marketing, experience with the U. S. market, and a proven track record in team and office management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Team Management:
- Act as the primary leader for the Romanian team, functioning as an extension of the U. S. -based company and supporting the Marketing Director in both strategic and daily activities.
- Oversee and mentor a team of 6 marketing professionals, ensuring alignment with company goals and delivering
- quality results. - Manage recruitment, onboarding, and scaling of the team as needed.
- Process Development & Quality Assurance:
- Assess and improve existing workflows to enhance productivity and ensure quality of deliverables.
- Implement and enforce standardized processes for services including social media, email marketing, SEO, paid advertising, and other operational procedures that enhance productivity and scalability.
- Office & Culture Development:
- Source and establish a local office space in Cluj-Napoca to foster collaboration and build a strong company culture.
- Organize
- building activities to create a cohesive and motivated team environment. - Strategic Growth:
- Collaborate with the U. S. Marketing Director to define and execute growth strategies both for the company and it’s clients.
- Identify and attract top local talent to expand the team's capabilities.
Qualifications:
- Marketing Expertise:
- Strong knowledge of digital marketing channels and strategies, including social media, SEO, email marketing, and paid advertising.
- Familiarity with the U. S. market is a must.
- Leadership Experience:
- Proven experience managing and growing teams.
- Ability to implement and oversee operational processes.
- Organizational Skills:
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain
- quality standards. - Strong project management capabilities.
- Communication:
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to bridge the gap between the U. S. and Romanian teams.
- Fluent in English; additional language skills are a plus.
