Job Description

Complete 3D models, 2D shop drawings and erection layouts of prefabricated steel buildings as per the structural and architectural plans, using 3D and 2D software while ensuring all project criteria are met.  

Essential Functions:

● Gathers, examines and interprets information from project documents;
● Completes 3D models of building elements as per contract drawings;
● Connects structural elements as per contract drawings and engineering specifications;
● Reports discrepancies and missing information on the contract documents;
● Detects possible interferences between structural and architectural building parts;
● Completes 2D shop drawings of construction elements generated from 3D models;
● Completes 2D erection layouts generated from 3D models;
● Generates material lists as required;
 

• Technical faculty diploma
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical procedures, specifications governmental regulations, drawings, and job specifications
• Computer skills
• CAD software knowledge
• Mid to advanced Tekla  Structures knowledge or SDS2 software
• English language
• Good learning and communication skills

We will provide a training program upon hiring for specific standards, norms and tools (2-4 weeks).
