Job description

We are looking for a Environment Inspector for a major road infrastructure project in Romania, to join in our Webuild team.

Responsibilities:

The environmental inspector will mainly deal with:

- Training of employees and subcontractors/providers in the field of environment 

- Ensuring that all provisions of the legislation in force regarding environmental protection and waste management are respected, within the construction site 

- Takes care of the training, education and information of the site personnel involved in the Environmental Management Plan.

- Checks the implementation of environmental measures at each work point; 

- Preparation of verification reports regarding the environmental aspects identified in the field;

- Check the fulfillment of the requirements of the Environmental Agreement and the Environmental Management Plan in the construction site;

- It is ensured that the waste generated on the construction site is managed in accordance with the legal requirements;

- Manages and controls materials and waste (keeps records of waste management, prepares the loading/unloading forms of hazardous and
- hazardous waste according to (HG 856/2002);

- Participates with the specialist
- contactor in the monitoring of environmental factors and biodiversity ;

- presents information on how to carry out environmental protection activities;

- participate in the internal audit;

- Preparation of data for the periodic evaluation of the environmental performance of the project.
