ERT Engineer to join their business in
Romania.
Job Description:
The Emergency Response Team Engineer is responsible for providing
- level technical support and expertise during
- related emergencies, acting as a main point of communication and contact towards customers.
This role involves rapid response, diagnosis, and resolution of critical network issues to ensure minimal downtime and optimal performance. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in network infrastructure, troubleshooting, & incident management.
Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Experience:
10+ years of experience in network support, with at least 5 years L2 support role, as well as experience in an incident management role.
Proven experience with network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
Skills and Certifications:
Strong knowledge of network protocols and technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, OSPF), DCN and SDN as well as virtualization and Telco Cloud concepts (VNF, CNF, etc. )
Experience in network monitoring and diagnostic tools
Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP/CCIE, CISSP, or similar are highly desirable.
Overall NOC experience desired (24/7 / On-Call availability).
The German Language represents an advantage.

Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple priorities in a
- paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Based on our resources planning approach, you are responsible to drive critical incident bridges (P1/P2 incidents) to resolution, following the Incident management (IM) process. These might occur during business hours, outside of business hours and over weekends too (on call service).
Join Incident/Problem/Change Management of Cloud Infra and VNF/CNF Operations meetings
Support for Trend Analysis – Traffic, resources, tools
SLA/KPI Governance and tracking of Cloud Infra (DC or edge sites) and VNF/CNF
Vendor Management w. r. t to Cloud Infra (DC or edge sites) for any incidents
Provide consolidated view of the issues and their tracking w. r. t to all vendors involved in the activities
Overviewing the quality of the critical incidents reporting to our end customer.
Coordinating dependencies between IM and Change Management processes
Producing management information
Monitoring effectiveness of IM and making recommendations for improvement
