Your mission

The Group Delivery Director is responsible for orchestrating complex,
- location software delivery across Matrix42’s growing portfolio of products and solutions. Reporting directly to the CTO, this leader ensures that programs are delivered on time, within budget, and in alignment with the company’s strategic roadmap and quality standards.
 
Operating at a level comparable to a Director of Engineering, the Group Delivery Director focuses on coordinating teams, processes, and resources to successfully manage the transition from
- premises legacy products toward a
- native,
- tenant Saa
S environment. This includes integrating newly acquired teams and product lines following the firm’s recent M&A activity. A key aspect of the role is establishing robust Agile and Dev
Ops practices, cultivating a culture of ownership and continuous improvement, and driving operational excellence across geographically dispersed teams.
 
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Delivery & Program Management

• Oversee
  -
  - end delivery of complex software initiatives across multiple teams and geographies, ensuring alignment with the product roadmap.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for program stakeholders, providing updates on status, risks, and issues.
• Define delivery program objectives, scope, schedules, and milestones in collaboration with engineering, QA, and product management.
• Develop and maintain project and portfolio plans, ensuring all key milestones are met on time and within budget.
• Track program progress and performance, identifying and resolving roadblocks early.

• Coordinate and
  - manage a team of Delivery Managers, along with QA, Product Managers, and Engineering resources to ensure
  -
  - end program success.
• Drive a culture of innovative,
  - organizing, autonomous Agile/Scrum teams that adapt quickly to changing priorities.
• Actively foster communication and collaboration across departments, promoting transparency and consistent reporting.
• Collaborate with Sales and Customer Success teams to ensure smooth delivery of customer commitments and technical solutions.
• Partner with Product Management to define and maintain technical product roadmaps that align with market demands and customer needs.

• Support Matrix42's ongoing transformation from
  - premise solutions to a
  - native and
  - based platform.
• Oversee efforts to integrate newly acquired product lines or
  - party solutions, ensuring technical compatibility and seamless onboarding into the Matrix42 ecosystem.
• Contribute to optimizing Dev
  Ops workflows and CI/CD pipelines, advocating best practices and AI-driven enhancements.

• Establish and enforce consistent methodologies, processes, and metrics for software delivery and governance.
• Partner with senior technology leaders to address technical debt, modernize legacy systems, and ensure scalability for future growth.
• Lead continuous improvements in code quality, platform stability, security, and
  - effectiveness.
• Using
  - driven approaches and metrics, this leader will establish KPIs and reporting frameworks to measure delivery effectiveness, team productivity, and engineering excellence across the organization.

• Provide daily guidance, coaching, and mentoring to
  - country engineering and delivery teams.
• Champion skills development and career progression for team members, fostering a culture of accountability and
  - oriented performance.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for program delivery, reviewing technical proposals and offering constructive feedback to teams.

Your profile

Matrix42’s future Group Delivery Director is a dynamic and
- on software delivery leader who can navigate complex,
- country organizations. They possess an analytical and structured approach, a passion for cloud technologies, and a demonstrated track record of transitioning from legacy systems to a
- based,
- native environment.

MUST HAVE:

• 8–10 years of experience in software delivery (R&D, Engineering, Dev
  Ops), with at least 5–7 years in leadership roles.
• Proven success coordinating large,
  - site teams—especially during M&A-driven integrations and operational harmonization.
• Expertise in Agile/Scrum and Dev
  Ops practices, including CI/CD pipelines for cloud environments (Azure strongly preferred).
• Demonstrated ability to restructure siloed product teams into truly agile,
  - functional squads and deliver at scale.
• Experience dealing with heterogeneous technology landscapes: from
  - prem legacy systems to hybrid and
  - native applications.
• Business Fluency in English
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Sciences, Software Engineering or related fields

• Certain knowledge in either Romanian, German, Polish, or Finnish is considered a plus
• Masters' degree is considered a plus
