In this role you will be responsible for the development and expansion of Autoliv’s Electrical Safety Systems (ESS) products and product portfolio. Your role will support the growth of the ESS business by being a key partner to and in close collaboration with the commercial teams. You will oversee product development in alignment with the product plan, ensuring customer fit, technical maturity, and robust system architecture.

        Should you be interested in overseeing these tasks and aiming for enhanced performance standards, your role will involve: 

• Deliver on the product plan by allocating development resources to product development projects (GDPs), ensuring
  - time,
  - budget, and
  - quality delivery.  
• Accelerate project timelines and enhance the development team's speed.  
• Identify strategic areas for future development in electrical safety based on expertise and market trends and provide these insights as input to the strategic product planning process.  
• Provide significant support in AES development for ESS 
•  Oversee, challenge and coach the electrical safety development team, fostering a proactive and
  - focused development environment with strong collaboration.  
•  Develop, coach and support the Chief Engineers for Low/Medium/High Voltage Safety Solutions 
• Lead budget allocation, ensuring cost efficiency and optimal resource utilization

     If you have/are:

• University Technical Degree 
• Fluent in English
• Expertise in Electrical Safety, e. g. from products such as fuses, contactors, breakers or switches
• Experience from multiple disciplines (RDE, Sales, Manufacturing, project management etc. )
• Experience in best practice processes for product development e. g. , systems engineering and virtualization 
•  Experience in managing product dev teams 
•  Experience in modular product design
• Capability to translate customer needs and value into product strategy, aligned with strategic business plan
