Job Scope
The Head of Global Order Desk in SBL oversees the

- end process of preparing proposals, securing orders, and ensuring the efficient execution of contracts on a global scale. This role is critical in driving business growth by managing the proposal process, optimizing order execution, and ensuring that customer expectations are met or exceeded. The Global Head will work closely with
- functional teams, including sales, engineering, procurement, and logistics, to deliver
- quality proposals and flawless order fulfillment. Takes ownership for effective establishment, integration, and management of the Global Business Centres and Industry Order Desk of assigned product lines within the Service Business Line. The role is responsible for streamlining global processes, gradually moving closer to, and allowing for, one global process, enabling a higher service level for the sales organizations. The role will ensure collaboration and alignment with the regional order desk teams.
The role is established under the Commercial Operations & Business Development team in SBL. In Commercial Operations & Business Development we commercialize the customer data we have across the organization. Focus is on sales enablement of the entire organization, but in particular the sales teams. We create a common toolbox and processes for everyone that makes it easy to focus on customers, and hence allowing for growth of the business.
Your responsibilities
Establishes a global process for the Order Desk function, taking best practices from current ways of operation into account
Oversees and manages the current Order Desk resources that are located in the established GBC in India, plus establish the function in the new Romania GBC
Creates a setup that allows for global visibility and KPI's that are comparable and can be used for continuous improvement of the function globally
Collaborates with the regional teams to drive efficiency throughout all teams globally
What you bring
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role within the Customer service role/function, with a proven track record of driving business growth and operational excellence.
Excellent sales, financial, analytical and
- solving skills.
