What functions will you perform?

ID Energy Group is a Spanish company dedicated to the development and construction of renewable energy projects with a special focus on solar PV. The company is in a continuous process of international expansion and has already established itself in more markets: Spain, Hungary, Poland, Serbia, Croatia, Italy, Chile and Romania.  

ID Energy Group is currently looking for Head of Origination to identify new project sites and possibilities for renewable energy projects in Romania, reporting to the Head of Business Development Hungary & SEE.

 Responsibilities: 

• Identify available land potentially suitable for the project development 
• Originate and manage the greenfield PV, storage and wind development activities in Romania
• Liaise with the local team in order to identify free capacities within the electricity grid and land plots
• Understand and negotiate the correspondent conditions for the acquisition/rental of the land plots with the relevant stakeholders including but not limited to the land owners, land registry offices, municipalities, public authorities, etc.
• Negotiate and sign the land contracts, then become the first point of contact with the land owners throughout the whole project development process
• Collaboration with the Budapest-based Team (Business and Project Development, Finance and Legal)
• Review the designs necessary for the submission and obtainment of the different projects’ permits
• Manage all the administrative and technical aspects of the permitting process of the projects until Ready to Build (RTB) stage
• Develop, maintain and manage the communication with the competent authorities and public institutions involved in the development process, ensuring the correct issuance of all the necessary permits, licenses and authorizations
• Follow constantly the updates in the local renewable energy market regulations
• Report to and liaise with the regional team based in Budapest on a regular basis
• Support
  - hoc tasks in order to achieve the company's business and growth strategy, ensuring business continuity regarding company projects in Romania 

Your profile

• At least 5 years of
  - on experience in the renewable energy sector in similar position
• University degree in engineering/finance/economics
• Experience in securing land plots and negotiation of land agreements
• Exceptional communication skills
• Very responsive, flexible and ensures
  - time delivery
• Native in Romanian, fluent in English
• Willingness to travel 
• Experience in working remotely with an international team
• “B” type of driving license
