Job Description

Join us as the Head of Industrial Design. You will lead the development and implementation of the design language for all Music Tribe brands. This role will collaborate with external design agencies, JDM (Joint Design Manufacturing) partners, and freelance designers to create innovative, manufacturable, and
- focused designs. The role ensures that all designs align with Music Tribe’s brand identity and resonate with target customer segments.

Strategy
- Design Vision & Language: Develop and Maintain a design language that reflects Music Tribe’s brand and resonates with target customers.
- Creative Direction: Lead creative direction across product categories, ensuring innovative and functional designs
- External Partnerships: Cultivate relationships with external design agencies and partners to ensure
- quality outcomes.
- Customer-Centric Design: Tailor designs based on customer research to enhance aesthetics and user experience.
- Brand Alignment: Ensure product designs consistently reflect Music Tribe’s brand identity and market presence.

Operations
- Project Management: Coordinate design projects with internal and external teams to achieve goals.
- Design Lifecycle: Manage design from concept to production, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.
- Manufacturing Feasibility: Ensure designs are visually appealing and
- effective for production.
- Trend Integration: Incorporate industry trends and new materials into design processes.
- Feedback & Alignment: Provide feedback on external designs to align with Music Tribe’s vision.

Compliance
- Manufacturing Standards: Ensure designs meet quality,
- efficiency, and production standards.
- Legal & Safety Compliance: Adhere to legal and safety regulations for consumer electronics.
- Sustainability: Use sustainable materials and
- friendly practices where possible.
- Brand Guidelines: Maintain brand consistency across all product designs.
- Vendor Compliance: Ensure external partners meet design, timeline, and quality requirements.

- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience leading design initiatives.
- Design Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing innovative,
- focused designs that are both visually compelling and manufacturable.
- Project Management: Proven ability to manage multiple design projects, meeting deadlines and budgets.
- Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with external design agencies, freelance designers, and internal teams.
- Manufacturing Knowledge: Deep understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and the ability to ensure designs are feasible for mass production.
