Ingeniero/a de seguridad espacial (SST)
Youwill be part of the GMV Romania team , where we are at the forefront of groundbreaking projects , leading the CREAM (Conjunction Risk Estimation and Automated Mitigation) initiative ,
- edge effort to improvethe safety and sustainability of space.
Asa space safety engineer , you will carry out the analysis and assessment of conjunction scenarios, leveraging tools and algorithms to predict and mitigate potentialcollisions ; you will design andimplement collision avoidance strategies , ensuringoptimal spacecraft performance and safety. You will develop software , translatingcomplex space safety concepts into clean, maintainable and scalable code, seamlessly integrating them into existing systems.
Workingin harmony within a multidisciplinaryteam to ensure the development and integration ofinnovative solutions that improve space security, keeping abreast of advances in spacesecurity methodologies and contributing to the evolution of

WHAT DO WE NEED IN OUR TEAM?
Forthis position, we are looking for engineers in aerospace, telecommunications, computer science , orrelated fields with strong ability to bridge the gapbetween advanced space concepts and software development , solid understanding of space security issues and proficiency in programming languages relevant to the field ( Python, Java, Fortran or similar).
Previousexperience, and knowledge of conjunctionrisk analysis and mitigation strategies , as well as theability to develop solutions that integrate seamlessly into broader systems andworkflows will also be an asset.
