Internal Controls Business Partner

In this role you'll be assisting in the management and
- ordination of the Internal Controls agenda across the European Organization and to ensure the effectiveness of the internal control structure supporting our financial reporting process.
A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing
- Enhance Risk Awareness: Collaborate with the Internal Controls Manager to elevate financial and operational risk awareness within the Global Business Services organization and the broader European business.
- Ensure Sarbanes-Oxley Compliance: Assist in managing and coordinating the Sarbanes-Oxley compliance process (S404) across the European Organization to ensure the internal control structure's effectiveness.
- Create Remediation Planning: Develop remediation plans and resolve any internal control weaknesses in partnership with the business, providing advice and guidance to process owners.
- Control Issue Response: Support the Business in addressing key control issues within the European Finance Organization, undertaking
- hoc control projects as they arise to minimize risk. - Increase Financial Risk Awareness: Drive financial risk awareness within the Finance organization through balance sheet account review boards and quarterly management representations letters.
We’re Looking for Someone With
- University Degree or equivalent, preferably in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
- Experience of Sarbanes Oxley S404 and understanding of SOX principles.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles US GAAP.
- Familiarity with tools such as SAP, Audit
Board and Cadency is preferable. - Proficiency in English.
