IPTX Ops Engineer Bucharest

Operations engineer under IPTX NOC BO stream for 1und1.

Provide advanced routing and switching technical support on a multitude of IP, DCN and Access Network solutions.

Troubleshooting network issues via agreed ticketing system and processes standardized by Client within the agreed customer SLA’s.

Work in a team of highly skilled IP BO engineers.

Advanced operational support on a wide suite of Cisco WAN, DCN, SDN and EMS products.

Advanced operational support on RAN Cell Site Gateway access node (DASAN vendor).

Identify, diagnose, debug and remediate network problems in accordance with the customer Incident Management Process.

Follow-up with vendor support as per defined contract, in accordance with the customer SLA and severity of the fault investigated. RCA delivery in accordance with the customer Problem

Management Process.

Deployment of various configuration tasks as per Client Engineering input in accordance with the customer agreed Change Management Process.

Create, review and publish WI for the FO team, to enhance the initial fault analysis and diagnosis delivered to the BO team.

Performing
- call duties as IPTX L2 Engineer.

Strong background on the IPTX domain is a must (IPv4/IPv6 protocols, BGP, EVPN, layer2/layer3 VPNs, SR-MPLS, WDM). Cisco experience is preferable (NX-OS, IOS-XR suite).

Strong knowledge on DCN and SDN concepts is a must (ACI, Nuage, Contrail).

Good knowledge and troubleshooting skills in Linux/Unix and alike operating systems.

Good knowledge in virtualization and Telco Cloud concepts (VNF, CNF, etc).

Overall NOC experience desired (24/7 On-Call availability as BO Engineer).

CCNP/CCIE certification is a plus.

The German Language represents an advantage.
