Scope of Work

IDS Romania: IS Data & Digital Services activities located in Romania IS/IT

Operations: Development of Innovation for internal processes optimization in Europe.

Description of Scope n°1: IDS Romania

Context:

IDS ( I S D ata & D igital S ervices) is the Data & Digital department within ISIT function that delivers all Data capabilities and digital transformation projects for all businesses, as described below:

As of today, IDS counts +170 experts, organized in + 20 squads / product teams, located in France, Romania, Mauritius, Dubai, Lebanon and following agile manisfesto principles.

Focus on IDS’ Digital Center of Excellence:

IDS has a dedicated organization of 30 FTE in Romania, both internal & external, mobilized to delivered Home Made applications that are necessary for Thales function’s efficiency and performance, at a global level.

Launched in 2021, internalization plan in Romania, is strongly accelerated since end of 2022.

In order to sustain IDS Tribe, activities expected from IT Manager are following

People Management:

IDS Romanian resources report directly to IDS Delivery Leader, are integrated in Application chapter (training, career path, skills development. . . ). As of today, 21 FTEs, targeting around 40 FTEs by end of Q1 2025.

As a Servant Leader, You have the responsibility to ensure IDS proper growth in Romania, secure local IDS operational performance and goals achievements, supporting the IDS Delivery leader that will report directly to you.

Activities are following (non exhaustive list):

IDS Embassador in Romania:

IDS Operations in RO

People management (in collaboration with IDS Tribe Leader & local delivery Leader)

Hiring plan management:

Follow-up of delivery performance

Governance

Flex office organization

Cost center responsibility

Description of Scope n°2: IS/ IT Operation Manager

As IS/IT Operations Manager, taking into account the very disrupted and moving technology ecosystem, and the pressure on budgets requiring more & more competitiveness, You are accountable to identify right regional markets/ areas to develop IS/IT innovative activities in line with Tribe Leader delivery strategy (products & services vs Technology).
