Aufgaben - You are the interface between our business and the data center specialists
- Standardization and coordination of the worldwide server application landscape
- Technical support for our business to install applications in
- prem server and cloud environments - Implementation and migration of SQL data bases
- Setup and maintenance of terminal server applications
- Data Center operation e. g. recovery of backups
- Third Level support for the data center environment
- Collaboration and guidance of external service providers
- Cross-functional collaboration with other BU IT teams, plant ITs and our business
- Planning and execution of IT projects on BU level
- Full integration in the international team being responsible for the global IT infrastructure
Profil - Completed education in the IT field (e. g. IT system administrator) or comparable studies in the field of computer science
- Qualifications and several years of experience in server administration and application management
- Experience in server OS (Windows, Linux), SQL server, terminal server, Active Directory, backup (Veeam)
- Goal-oriented way of working and high IT affinity
- Enthusiasm, commitment, and very good communication skills
- Willingness for international travel, intercultural competence and experience abroad
- Very good written and spoken skills in English (C1 level)
- Continuous (self-)education in relevant subject areas
- Personal commitment to continuous training in relevant data center technologies.
