At adesso & Analytics, you help our clients become more -driven by building pipelines and converting the raw, unstructured into formats that help other professionals, such as scientists and analysts, analyze. This work includes creating and maintaining an infrastructure that automates the building of analytics and machine learning models. Our clients consist of medium and large organizations.

What You'll do. . . .

The position is primarily focused on the new development of data products on the advanced One
DIA platform. The focus is on requirements engineering, where you will work closely with various stakeholders to understand and analyze their needs and develop them into initial solution architectures and alternatives. This also includes the preparation of effort estimates, which are essential for the planning and realization of projects.

You're expected to focus on the new technologies and processes of the One
DIA platform without
- depth exposure to legacy implementations on AZi
D DP or OCI/BI. While a deep understanding of one of the key technologies of the One
DIA platform, such as Snowflake, dbt, AWS Glue, Dynatrace or other AWS services is important, the focus of the knowledge transfer is on sharing insights internally that can directly contribute to improving project work.

The ideal candidate will be characterized by a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills and the ability to translate complex requirements into workable solutions. The goal is to create the foundation for successful projects on the One
DIA platform through effective requirements engineering.

General requirements
1) Basic knowledge of German desirable
2) Experience in requirements engineering, estimation and a basic understanding of architecture design to meet the needs of our internal “customers” (actuaries, market management, business users).
3) An open, communicative personality with the ability to work independently and proactively suggest improvements rather than just completing assigned tasks.
4) Ability to work in a team: We value mutual support and are therefore looking for someone who is a team player to join our team.

Top 3 requirements
1) Knowledge of creating and analyzing complex business processes and requirements.
2) Knowledge of relevant technologies such as Snowflake, AWS Glue, Kafka or DBT.
3) Experience with modeling tools and methods to document business processes and system requirements.

Further requirements
1) Basic knowledge of the above technologies.
2) Understanding of version control and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) with Git and Jenkins.
3) Knowledge of cloud computing, especially AWS (Lambda, S3, Athena and other relevant services).
4) Familiarity with data formats such as JSON, XML, AVRO and Apache Iceberg.
5) Experience with infrastructure as code, ideally Terraform.
6) Basic knowledge of data visualization tools such as MS Power BI is an advantage, but not a must.
