We are looking for an experienced IT Engineer (Microsoft/Linux/Virtualization) for our client

Trade The News, a USA-based leading financial news platform, provides
- time market intelligence and comprehensive analysis to professional traders, ensuring they stay ahead of market movements with
- fast updates and live interaction with analysts.

Required experience: more than 10 years

Part-timeto Full-timeremote workfrom home. Independent contractor's contract position. Long term contract

Full professional proficiency in English is obligatory

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain IT infrastructure (MS based);
• Manage andmaintain IT infrastructure(MS based);
• Monitor andtroubleshoot virtualizationsolutions (VMware);
• Provide advancedtechnical supportas to
  IT soto
  - ITusers;
• Collaborate withthe softwaredevelopment teamto ensurea proper
  IT resources' allocation planning, maintenance and troubleshooting;
• Maintain comprehensivedocumentation ofconfigurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps

Required Qualifications:

Microsoft Expertise:

• Active Directory (AD) and Exchange support, including AD forest migration.
• Proficient in directory services (GPO, DNS, DHCP, DFS, WSUS, user profile management).
• Experience with Windows Server and End User technology, including Antivirus and patch management.
• Skilled in capacity planning, performance monitoring, and maintenance for high availability.
• Knowledge of Application Packaging Standards, Desktop Standards, Hardware Imaging, and OS Patches.
• Proficient in Exchange (2016+), and Microsoft SQL Server (2008+).

Virtualization:

• Experience with VMware Horizon View (7. x+).
• Skilled in VMware VSphere and ESXi (6. x+).
• Knowledge of VMware applications and physical infrastructure services.
• Understanding of Windows Desktop OS design considerations for various devices.
• Proficient in diagnosing VDI issues and hypervisor tuning.
• Expertise with SAN and VSAN storage.
• Linux Skills (Desirable):
• Experience with Ubuntu, Cent
  OS, Red
  Hat.
• Configuring Linux for opti performance.

• Proficient in performance monitoring andtuning.
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.

Other technologies:

• Demonstrated NMS(Zabbix, Kabanaetc. ) implementationhistory;
• Unified Endpoint
  Management (UEM);
• Expert backupadmin skillsusing VEEMStrong Networking knowledge -netmasks, VLANs, ACLs, DHCP, DNS, routing.
• Good scriptingknowledge ispreferred forautomation using
  Power
  Shell, Ansibleetc. ;

Microsoft Expert level (or MCSE )certifications;

VCP -VMware Certified Professional -Data Center
Virtualizationcertification;

VCP - VMware
Certified Professional- Desktop and Mobilitycertification
