As part of our mission, we are upgrading our Grant Management platform to enhance its capabilities and support the entire grant lifecycle. This platform manages various Call types, proposal submissions, evaluations, project agreements, reporting, analytics, and project portfolio management. The upgraded platform will provide advanced features and improved user experiences for stakeholders involved in the grant management process.
We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead the Grant Management software upgrade project. This role involves overseeing the project from planning to delivery, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, and managing stakeholder expectations. While expertise in the underlying technologies is not mandatory, familiarity with grant management processes and relevant technologies will be considered an advantage. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in IT project management and experience in grant management or similar industries.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Management:
- Define the project’s scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with EIT Raw
Materials’ strategic goals.
- Develop and maintain project timelines, budgets, and resource plans.
- Regularly monitor project progress, risks, and issues, implementing mitigation strategies as needed.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Collaborate with internal teams, including grant management staff, IT support, and leadership, to gather requirements and ensure alignment.
- Engage external vendors and consultants, managing contracts and ensuring deliverables meet quality standards.
Grant Management Platform Upgrade:
- Oversee the migration and enhancement of the platform, incorporating new features such as:
- Proposal submission templates based on specific requirements.
- Internal and external evaluator management for proposal evaluations.
- Enhanced project agreement and result reporting functionalities.
- Improved analytics, reports, notifications, and communication sections.
- Robust access management and project portfolio tools.
- Ensure seamless integration with existing systems and databases.
Technology Oversight:
- Coordinate with development teams utilizing technologies such as ASP. NET Core Minimal API, Angular, ASP. NET Web
Forms, C#, . NET Core 8+, RESTful APIs, g
RPC, Signal
R/Web
Socket, and Microsoft SQL Server/Postgres databases.
- Provide support to technical teams, ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
Risk Management and Quality Assurance:
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with the upgrade.
- Establish quality assurance protocols to ensure the platform meets functional and performance requirements.
Change Management and Training:
- Develop a change management strategy to support user adoption of the upgraded platform.
- Organize training sessions, create user guides, and provide ongoing support for users.
Operational Readiness:
- Ensure the platform is optimized for secure and efficient operation
- implementation.
- Implement monitoring, backup, and recovery mechanisms for operational continuity.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience (5+ years) managing IT projects, preferably in grant management or similar industries.
Technical Skills:
- Familiarity with technologies such as ASP. NET Core, Angular, C#, . NET Core, RESTful APIs, and database systems (Microsoft SQL Server and Postgres).
- Experience managing projects involving application development and system integrations.
Industry Knowledge:
- Understanding of grant management processes and cycles.
- Familiarity with proposal evaluations, project agreements, and reporting requirements is a significant advantage.
Project Management Expertise:
- Certification in PMP, or Agile methodologies is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex IT projects with multiple stakeholders and tight deadlines.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams.
- Strong analytical and
- solving abilities.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
