We recently bought the Arad power station and are carrying out major upgrade works, including relocating the control room and building a new data centre room. Thanks to this, we are looking for an IT Systems Engineer to be based
- site and support a wide range of projects, systems and ongoing operations.

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Systems Engineer to join our team, responsible for providing comprehensive technical support across all levels - 1st, 2nd, and 3rd level. The ideal candidate will possess excellent
- solving abilities, strong communication skills, and a deep understanding of IT infrastructure and systems. This role involves diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving technical issues, as well as escalating complex problems to
- level support teams when necessary.

• Act as the initial point of contact for technical issues reported by users via phone, email, or
  - person.
  Document all incidents and service requests, ensuring accurate and thorough records are maintained.
• Investigate and troubleshoot more complex technical issues escalated from 1st level support, utilizing diagnostic tools and resources.
• Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software components, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with other IT teams to implement system upgrades, patches, and enhancements.
• Serve as an expert resource for advanced technical support and problem resolution, including server administration, network troubleshooting, and security incidents.
• Participate in
  - call rotation schedules to provide 24/7 support for critical IT systems and emergencies.
• Ensure optimal performance and availability of network switches, servers (physical & virtual), PCs, PLCs, SCADA systems, meters, and converters.
• Assist with data reporting, cybersecurity compliance, and future IT projects (network expansion, Grafana integration, VM migration, software upgrades).
• Manage and maintain hardware/software in administrative building, data center, pump station, and remote locations (110k
  V station, gas meters, Horia station).
• Collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's in CS/IT or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years in IT support, preferably industrial setting.
• Strong understanding of networking, operating systems, and virtualization.
• Experience with server administration, data centers, automation scripting preferred.
• Industrial automation experience (PLC, SCADA) a plus.
• Excellent
  - solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
