IUU Service Line Lead (Head of Qual)
Role overview:
Leads and develops the business line(s), coordinates and delivers projects to the client under conditions of excellence and profitability.
Promotes Ipsos expertise for the business line, acts as a strategic leader and collaborates effectively with other Ipsos teams.
Implements the global strategy of the business line and plans activities and projects locally.
Leads and supports the business line team(s) in offering excellence in services and expertise to end clients.
What will I be doing?
Research
Guides the team on methodologies and best practices for ongoing projects to improve time and cost efficiency. It is a permanent source of inspiration for the team in choosing the best methodologies to meet customer objectives.
Prepares and reviews market research proposals and reports for the team.
Adds value to the information discovered from research by integrating it into the business,
- political, or
- competitive context.
Contributes significantly to the interpretation of the results in the research reports.
Supervises the implementation of specifications for the data processing department (DP), so that it can run analyzes and extract sufficient information necessary to provide answers to the objectives of the study.
Performs and reviews/provides support in carrying out complex analyzes, in order to obtain information with added value in research reports.
Supports presentations of research results to the client.
Reviews presentations made by team members.
Integrates additional contextual information from internal or external sources to build report conclusions.
Contributes to the development of the company's annual strategy, translates it into the department's strategy and ensures the successful implementation and achievement of objectives.
Project Management
Supervises the efficient management of projects carried out within the team.
Develops and negotiates the conditions related to the time horizon and budget of the project, ensuring the maintenance of the company's profit margin.
Ensures compliance with the deadlines for submitting proposals and reports/presentations.
Periodically checks project budgets and closely follows all financial stages (proposed price, project costs, registration of the proposal and project in internal financial systems, timely transmission of any changes to the financial or temporal parameters of the project, closing and invoicing of the project, monitoring the payment by the client, .
Client Relationship Management
Personally and directly coordinates 2-3 key clients (large business volume, mix of tactical and strategic studies, high seniority of the
- side Insights team).
Monitors the results of the satisfaction questionnaire given by clients (e
CSM KPIs) and the improvement of the quality of services for all clients of the department/business line.
Builds and improves collaboration and credibility in the relationship with clients (existing and new).
Creates offers in such a way that they are efficient and relevant for the client and profitable for Ipsos.
Offers consultancy regarding business objectives and applied methodology, so as to best meet the client's research needs.
Proactively identifies and follows up on new business opportunities for Ipsos research services.
Prepares and participates in workshops: presentations and support materials; prepares the workshop report.
Ensures understanding of the client's business problems.
Manages contracts with clients: ensures that there is a valid framework contract, creates and monitors the signing of the project annex and the GDPR annex.
Ensures an optimal level and in accordance with the objectives of the client's level of satisfaction with the collaboration with Ipsos.
Monitors the profitability of clients, signals and proposes solutions regarding inefficient projects and relationships.
Is an ambassador of the department/service line both to teams within the company (local and global), as well as outside Ipsos (clients, media, competitors).
Team and Department Management
Ensures the development and management of the team, in order to achieve the objectives at the departmental level (financial, operational, client service target, .
Is responsible for the performance and professional development of team members.
Performs periodic performance evaluation of team employees.
Prepares and monitors the integration plan for new employees.
Provides feedback to actively develop the skills and expertise of team members.
Periodically communicates action plans, various decisions to be implemented, changes within the organization to team members.

Manages complex situations arising at the level of interactions within the team, at any subordinate hierarchical level.

What do I need to bring with me?
Minimum 10 years of overall professional experience
Minimum 10 years of experience in market research, advertising research, brand research, brand loyalty (qualitative) - if applicable
Minimum 5 years of experience in client account management
1-2 years of experience in team management positions
Solid experience (minimum 5 years) in project management
