We Are Hiring: Java Developer (Mid & Senior)

Our client, a leading global company with over 75 years of experience in credit insurance and risk management, is seeking a talented Java Developer to join their excellence software development center in Bucharest. This team plays a key role in driving innovation and agility within the organization, offering cutting-edge technology solutions that facilitate global trade for tens of thousands of corporate clients worldwide.

What You Will Do:

• Design, develop, and test Java-based solutions using common standards and frameworks such as Java 8, Spring, JPA, and Hibernate.
• Research and propose new frameworks, technologies, or architectures to improve non-functional requirements of the solutions.
• Design and engineer high-performing, scalable, and mission-critical enterprise-grade applications.
• Write clean, efficient, and testable code, maintaining high-quality standards as per Quality Gates requirements.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure implemented features are maintainable, resilient, and high-performing.
• Contribute to the teams performance improvement and foster a collaborative work environment.
• Work effectively with distributed teams.

Qualifications:

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• Proficiency in Java and a strong understanding of its ecosystems.
• Solid knowledge of relational databases, SQL, and ORM technologies.
• A strong grasp of object-oriented programming principles, data structures, and algorithms.
• Experience with Spring, Hibernate, RESTful APIs, and microservices.
• Knowledge of non-relational databases (e. g. , MongoDB).
• Familiarity with Spring Framework modules is a plus.
• Verbal and written communication skills in English.
