Position Summary

We are looking for a colleague to join our team in Cluj-Napoca as a Junior FP&A. The position's key responsibilities are to provide decisional support regarding LOB profitability and business strategy, by reviewing financial performance, understanding and validating performance drivers, while also connecting the operational metrics with financial performance.

What will you do in our team?

• Have a continuous view of current Sales, Gross margin, Variable contribution margin and Gross profit, perform variance analysis Actual vs Forecast vs Budget vs Previous year results, identify major variance drivers -investigate and take corrective actions, if needed.
• Maintain active contact with accounting departments to correct identified errors and all other departments needed for the timely resolution of the identified errors.
• Challenge the numbers to obtain sufficient understanding of these, to provide key performance messages, through consolidated projections summarized into the reporting pack & Monthly Business review deck.
• Assisting in budget construction for next financial cycle.
• Monthly forecasting by Line of Business and submission in Hyperion Planning.
• Perform any other tasks given by the manager, related to current job responsibilities and in compliance with the law.
• Continuously evaluate activities that can be optimized and standardized.

Requirements

Experience and key skills:

• 1-2 years postgraduate experience in Finance
• Good communicator with the ability to transform a user’s reporting and/or analysis needs into insightful reporting and/or analysis “visuals” as appropriate – e. g. bridges, trends, graphs – to communicate key performance messages;
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with front end analysis and reporting tools – MS Office (advanced excel skills), Power BI is a plus;
• Minimum C1 English Language requirements.
