Junior Accounts Payable Accountant with English
Job Description
The finance team is crucial for maintaining financial health and stability. This team comprises accounts payable, tax and treasury, payroll, and investor relations. Together, they manage financial planning, transactions, compliance, and investor communications, ensuring the organization operates efficiently and meets its strategic goals.
The Junior Accounts Payable Accountant is responsible for processing invoices, verifying expense reports, initiating payment proposals, following the processes in place, and applying the communicated controls, so that payment cycle activities are performed in a timely and efficient manner. It also includes providing financial, administrative, and clerical support to the organization. This role reports to the Accounts Payable Team Lead.
Responsibilities:
- Review and manage invoices into system
- Create payment proposals
- Calculate per diems, audit and pay Cash Advances and Expenses
- Offer support to internal business on the Expense process
- Communicate with internal/external stakeholders regarding Accounts Payable invoices and expenses
- Respond to all vendor inquiries and reconcile vendor statements, research and correct discrepancies
Qualifications
- No previous experience required or a maximum of two years experience in a multinational organization
- Finance studies would be a plus
- Very good English Skills (B2+ or more)
- Microsoft Excel knowledge
- Excellent attention to details
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
