Key Account Manager
The opportunity
The Key Account Manager develops relationships with HCPs, key customers, including KOLs, in order to deliver high value educational content to key accounts within appointed institutions. Responsible for managing the designated area/territory and achieving sales objectives.
Responsibilities
• Prove strong understanding of the promoted product portfolio and Therapeutic Area to build professional relationships and appropriately support HCPs’ needs, keeping the focus on driving customer value
• Driving portfolio growth by identifying opportunities within designated accounts
• Building and maintaining strong relationship with key stakeholders
• Ensure that Teva portfolio and the medical information is properly understood by the HCPs.
• Demonstrate deep level of understanding of the local environment and market dynamics.
• Contribute and implement defined territory planning according to cycle strategy.
• Identify new opportunities and propose activities plan.
• Planning, participating and implementing individual and/or group activities within the limits of established budget and according to internal procedures and applicable regulations , in order to support ongoing promotional activities
• Preparing of necessary documents for the organization of individual and/or group events according to internal company procedures and local regulations.
• Schedule appointments and make
- planned product presentations to HCPs.
• Establish clear objectives for each visit with HCPs
• Initiate contact and schedule appointments with potential new customers.
• Prepare plans for visits and activities, reports and documents as required.
• Work collaboratively with team members and
- functional teams to achieve strong customer outcomes.
• Having a significant contribution to the marketing plan, specific to the relevant market; participation in the team’s meetings and sharing best practices.
• Keeping the territorial budget within specified limits, thus ensuring that all activities performed observe the relevant commercial and ethical recommendations.
• Monitoring, controlling and reporting all aspects regarding key activities and the costs incurred, and maintaining accurate client and company records.
• Conduct all activities in compliance with company policies and standards, ARPIM/ APMGR Code of Ethics and all relevant Romanian laws and regulations.
Main stakeholders
• Internal: Commercial Department, Supply Chain, Country Leadership Team, etc.
• External: Physicians, KOLs, wholesalers, relevant healthcare institutions.

Specific role requirements
• University degree.
• Intermediate English skills
• Preferably 5-7 years’ professional experience with pharma innovative portfolios. Working experience in a similar TA, with KOLs preferrably in Ophthalmology area would be a plus.
• Computer literacy (Microsoft Office)
• Ability to travel within the designated region
• Clean driving licence.
