Our client is searching for an L2 Infra
Sec Engineerto join their business in
Romania.
Job Description:
Operate, configure, and troubleshoot systems as per Low Level Design.
Finetune and optimize the deployments for the customer environment.
Reviewing current system security measures and recommending and implementing enhancements.
Collaborate with vendors, and internal and external stakeholders to address Events, Incidents, and Problems across Network Security and platform Systems like Firewall, Next Generation Firewall, Load
Balancer, VPNs, IPS/IDS, WAF, Linux Solutions, PKI Solutions – CA, CLM, IAM Solutions – ISE, LDAP.
Performing diagnosis,
- cause analysis, escalation, tracking, and permanent resolution of complex security incidents.
Coordinating with network and cloud engineers to ensure availability, reliability, and scalability of security architecture.
Provide knowledge and training sessions to the internal teams.
Provide support on Incident Response on security incidents and participate in the development of business cases and presentations on information security technologies of interest to the company.
Perform
- call duties, 1 week/month.
Responsibilities:
Build workflows for configuration, verification, health checking, and monitoring of various network components.
Troubleshooting of known faults/Identified scenarios.
Coordinate with internal/external stakeholders.
Raise Problem Tickets as a part of problem management.
Participate and review test cases for NW elements, and acceptance test executions.
Implement Change Requests as per Change Windows and/or support execution of maintenance work for other stakeholders.
Technical Knowledge:
Hands-on Experience on Security and platform Solutions operations
Good understanding of TCP/IP stack and network security controls
Experience in delivering security and platform solutions in a cloud environment
Experience with various vendor security products like – Cisco: ASAv, ISE, FTD … F5: BIG IP AFM, GTM, ASM, LTM
Experience with various platform products like – DNS, NTP, DHCP, Linux technologies/solutions
Experience in implementing, integrating, configuring, and
- tuning network security systems mentioned above
Working knowledge of common and industry standard
- native/cloud-friendly authentication mechanisms (OAuth, Open
ID, Keycloak, Vault, SSO, etc)
Experience in security zoning concepts, DMZ zone security
Strong knowledge of Infrastructure Security
Experience in monitoring solutions of Security & platform solutions
Defining and configuring Cloud Identity & Access Management
Strong knowledge of firewall platforms
Experience in network monitoring and security operations
Good to have:
Containers and Container Orchestrators knowledge: Kubernetes, Docker
Strong knowledge and troubleshooting skills in Linux/Unix, Windows
Strong knowledge in virtualization systems (VMWARE, Open
Stack, etc. )
Infrastructure and cloud certificates represent an advantage
The German Language represents an advantage.
