As a Marketing Technology Manager, you will lead the charge in guiding and mentoring local teams across Europe, ensuring the effective implementation of marketing technology solutions. You will play a key role in driving transformation projects while focusing on the bigger picture and overall strategic goals of the organization. Your role will involve coaching teams and helping them evolve into more mature and
- sufficient units, with a strong focus on martech innovation and leadership.
You’ll be joining our AD/01 team, reporting to the Manager Growth. You’ll work closely with brand teams across Europe, providing guidance and leadership in the implementation of martech solutions. You’ll be based out of our AD/01 studio in Bucharest, where you’ll help shape the transformation of our omnichannel marketing strategies.
Key responsibilities of your role.
- Lead transformation projects focused on marketing technology (martech), providing leadership and coaching to local teams across multiple European brands.
- Focus on coaching and mentoring local teams to adopt and optimize new technologies, while enabling them to handle the technical aspects independently.
- Facilitate
- functional collaboration, ensuring digital marketing, IT, and analytics teams work effectively together to leverage martech solutions for business success. - Drive innovation and experimentation in martech solutions, ensuring new technologies are piloted, tested, and scaled across local teams.
- Manage the broader transformation process, ensuring strategic alignment with the company's objectives and empowering teams to make
- driven, innovative decisions. - Lead Marketing partner management activities, contract renewals and financials.
- Drive Marketing Platform governance and Identity & Access Management activities.
- Empower teams to adopt martech solutions and foster collaboration and innovation across teams.
- Act as the strategic coach and guide for local teams, ensuring the broader vision is being realized through

- day execution. - Mentor less mature teams, supporting their development and helping them become more
- sufficient in handling marketing technology implementations. - Balance technical solutions with strategic marketing goals, ensuring the overall transformation process aligns with Ahold Delhaize's vision and objectives.
- Collaboration is key in your role, as you partner with digital channel owners, media specialists and analytics teams across our brands and internal teams. Together, you ensure that the Marketing solutions are being used effectively, and are creating value for our customers and our company. You will spearhead innovation and experimentation in the domain, being the linking pin between marketing and technology teams. You collaborate with Google’s account teams, brands, legal experts, IT teams, and other stakeholders to ensure the timely renewal and execution of contracts.

Requirements.
We think you’ll be best geared for success if you can meet the following requirements:
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree, preferably in marketing or a related field.
- Between 5 and 10 years of experience in leading transformation projects, particularly in marketing technology, in large corporate or global organizations (preferably within retail).
- Experience guiding
- functional teams through transformational change. - Strong understanding of the martech landscape and ability to see the bigger picture in digital marketing.
- Hands-on experience with martech tools (e. g. , Google Marketing Platform) and the ability to guide others in their use.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with experience navigating complex relationships with both internal and external partners.
- A proactive and structured approach to managing transformation projects, ensuring timely delivery of strategic goals.
