Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Senior Industrial Mechanical Engineer to join our team and contribute to our commitment to improving industrial and maintenance operations. This role is based out of our Bucharest office with hybrid work permitted. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial systems and equipment, focusing on ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and enhancing operational efficiency.

This is expected to be a technical role focused specifically on Industrial Engineering.

This role does not focus on General Mechanical (e. g. , HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Protection, and Project Management).

1. Industrial Facilities Design:
   • It will be considered an advantage the capability to conduct research into the feasibility, design, operation, and performance of mechanisms, components, processes, and systems for industrial facilities, including transit maintenance and operations.
   • It will be considered an advantage to perform research, analysis, and selection of equipment suitable for operations within industrial facilities, including cranes, hoists, wash bays, paint and coating booths, and weld bays.
   • Provide conceptual design at the early stages of the project and develop the concept to a
     - quality detailed design.
   • It will be considered an advantage the capability to coordinate with all disciplines and work with structural engineers to analyze the dynamics and vibrations of mechanical systems and structures.
   • Perform calculations, and conduct design drawing reviews.
   • Ensure design conforms with all applicable industrial codes.
   • Write and edit
     - based industrial specifications.
   • Having the skills to prepare contract documents and assess tenders for industrial construction or maintenance is an asset that can lead to successful project outcomes.

1. Team Collaboration:
   • Having the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while providing guidance to other engineers and technologists is considered a significant advantage.
   • Having the ability to prepare level of effort estimates and manage the effort spent on industrial engineering tasks in projects and opportunities will be considered an advantage.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 15+ years of experience in the industrial design of various buildings including Building & Places, Operations, Maintenance, Storage Facilities.
• Experience in the design of rail and transit maintenance facilities, including the selection of all equipment, including hoists, lifts, cranes, and turntables.
• In-depth knowledge of fluid storage and distribution, material handling, and industrial ventilation systems such as dust and fume control.
• Well-organized,
  - directed work habits with a demonstrated ability to prioritize and schedule tasks, managing multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic environment.
• Very strong communication skills, spoken and written; good presentation skills.
• Must be able to prepare written reports and deliver results clearly to technical or
  - technical audiences.
• Able to work independently or as part of a team.
