Merchandise Planner
Purpose of function
Responsible for the financial stock, planning and stock availability of the relevant category, with the aim of achieving sales, margin and stock targets.
Result areas / KPIs
Result area 1: Assortment analysis and stock availability
Responsible for availability, stock levels and stock turnover throughout the chain. Reports and signals the turnover rates with regard to the rotation and stock health of the relevant product group and makes proposals to optimize the existing range and advises the Category Manager on the implementation of the purchasing plan.
Result area 2: Plans & Budget
Drawing up, managing and monitoring the budget for sales, margin and stock for the relevant category and continuously managing the Open To Buy.
Result area 3: Process optimization
Makes concrete proposals to optimize processes, with the aim of reducing costs, increasing flexibility and/or increasing reliability.
